The 2013 Accord is available with three engines: a 185-horsepower four-cylinder, a 190-horsepower four-cylinder, and a 278-horsepower V6. A six-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive are standard. A continuously variable automatic transmission is available with the four-cylinder engine, and a six-speed automatic is available with the V6.

The Accord V-6 can dash to 60 mph in less than six seconds, but what's more impressive is how quickly yet smoothly the engine and six-speed automatic work together. The superb seats and great driving position; the smooth, predictable surge of power from the V-6; true luxury-level refinement; and a 'hidden' athletic side under it all were all part of it.

2013 Accord has an extra cubic foot of trunk space and a roomier interior in sedan models. It also comes with a rearview camera and Bluetooth. Advanced safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and forward collision warning are available. The  Accord has excellent safety ratings. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety named it a Top Safety Pick+, the organization’s highest award. The sedan also received the highest rating of Good in all six IIHS crash test evaluations. The Accord coupe has a Good rating in all but the driver-side small overlap front test, in which it received the second-highest rating of Acceptable.
