Experienced and Dynamic Structural Engineer with a proven track record of ensuring that structures are architecturally safe and compliant with codes. Familiar with the construction management process, and adept in advising clients regarding the proper materials and layout during the building process. Experienced in providing services for both residential and commercial projects, and adept in communicating recommendations and concerns clearly and effectively. Committed to identifying issues and achieving solutions to increase safety, functionality, and aesthetics.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building structures based on technical specifications.
  • Tracking project progress and reporting on results.
  • Choosing appropriate materials to ensure durability.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with Kiewit and/or project-specific Quality Management plans
  • Attend team meetings providing feedback on your/company development where possible
  • Work collaboratively with clients to understand and develop project objectives
  • Provide technical reviews at the conceptual and final design stages of project development
  • Development and improvement of our design tools, methodologies, and processes to ensure a high level of confidence and quality in our designs
  • Identify and implement new technologies that provide a competitive advantage. Identify technical differentiators and develop schemes for key project pursuits
  • Provide quality reviews for various projects, including checking of calculations and design plans
