I am an Egyptian civil engineer who graduated in 2010, MMUP/UPDA Certified. I have Candian equivalent: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (WES Ref # 3314536) with 1 year and 5 months of experience in Egypt; 3 years in Saudi Arabia, and currently working in Qatar since March 2015. Recently I have started taking courses in digital marketing in which I have completed the first level and received a certificate of completion.

I am able to finish tasks related to digital marketing such as content marketing, Email marketing, Social Media Marketing, etc. Also, I have very good experience in completing tasks related to the civil engineering field such as AutoCAD 2D drafting, Quantity surveying, etc. Furthermore, I have more than 10 years of experience in using Microsoft office.
 

My duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
  • using a range of computer software for developing detailed designs
  • undertaking complex calculations
  • liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors
  • compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures
  • resolving design and development problems
  • managing budgets and project resources
  • scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries
  • making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety
  • assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects
  • ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.
