In 1994, Nissan was the first Japanese car maker to create a regional headquarters in the Middle East when it opened its Dubai office under the name of Nissan Middle East. Today, Nissan Middle East is operating in more than 22 countries, from Azerbaijan to Yemen and from Turkey to Turkmenistan. The parent company of Nissan Middle East is called "Nissan Motor Co., Ltd." The roots of which date back to December 1933.


Nissan's early presence in the Middle East dates back to 1957, when the Gulf States started processing oil, and considering the state of transport infrastructure at the time, it is not shocking that the iconic Nissan Patrol – which was first introduced into the area by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – played a key role in the launch of the brand.A crucial position in taking the brand to the country, and it has also gained great success as a 4x4 off-road vehicle.
