The 2018 Lexus LX gets an updated Lexus Enform telematics system and a new exterior color, Eminent White Pearl, which replaces Starfire Pearl. The 2018 Lexus LX is the most expensive SUV in Lexus' lineup, slotting above the smaller GX. It comes standard with four-wheel drive and seats up to eight passengers. The 2018 Lexus LX is available as a a single model, the LX 570, and is powered exclusively by a 5.7-liter V-8 with 383 hp and 403 lb-ft of torque that comes paired exclusively to an eight-speed automatic transmission. EPA fuel economy ratings for the 2018 LX isn't very good at 13/18 mpg city/highway, making it one of the least efficient vehicles in its class.

With all seats in place, the 2018 LX has 9.1 cubic feet of cargo space, which is extremely small for such a large car. That can be expanded to 24.8 cubic feet with the third row folded and 44.7 cubic feet behind the front seats, both of which are still smaller than many SUVs its size. When properly equipped, the 2018 LX can tow up to 7,000 pounds of payload. Standard features include LED headlights, 20-inch alloy wheels, parking sensors, Crawl Control with Turn Assist, the Multi-Terrain Select System, an adjustable suspension system, leather upholstery, power front seats, power-operated split-folding second and third row seats, a 4.2-inch multi-information display, a 360-degree camera system, and keyless entry/start.
