GMC is an American company that manufactures General Motors trucks,
pick-up trucks and SUVs in North America and the Middle East.
The company was initially set up in 1901 AD under the name of The Rapid Motor Vehicle Company.
 In January 2007, GMC and General Motors were the second largest light vehicle sales center after the Chevrolet division, ahead of Pontiac.

 

Starting in 1973, the introduction of GM's new "rounded line" series of Chevrolet GMC trucks and trucks became more similar, ending
in the production of GMC quad front models, setting the standard for the Chevrolet/GMC truck line for more than 30 years. During this period, the models of the two companies (Silverado/Sierra, Jacket/Jimmy, Tahoe/Yukon, etc.) ,put everything in place but did not share the decorations and the price.
GM has recently begun designing a variation between the two lines of the 2007 model Silverados and Mounts.
