Editing is my passion and my expertise. I have been editing creatively for over 10 years and effortlessly work on a multitude of platforms. I’m level headed and I am capable to work well under pressure. I am used to handling
fast-paced environments and working against super tight deadlines whilst keeping the quality. I understand film and I make it as my mission to stay current and fresh. I pay attention to the details and also, I am fluent in both English and Arabic and I have worked with crew from around the world. Not only do I love editing beautiful films but sport is also my major passion. I enjoy cutting edgy promos and getting arty with up- close action.
 

My duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
  • Take a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specifications
  • Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
  • Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
  • Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
  • Create rough and final cuts
  • Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
  • Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
