The lease of Syria real estate is subject to the will of the contracting parties in: real estate intended for housing, summer vacation, tourism or recreation, real estate intended for practicing commercial, industrial, craft, free or scientific professions, legally regulated, or leased to government agencies, educational institutions, schools, popular organizations, or unions on the its various levels or associations.

The rents of Syria real estate are determined according to the following percentages of the value of the leased property for a full year:

1- 5% of the value of residential Syria real estate + 20% of the value of the interior furniture.

2- 6% of the value of Syria real estate designated for practicing a profession.

3- 7% of the value of Syria real estate allocated for investment, trade, industry, or a headquarters for organizations or associations.

4- 8% of the value of Syria real estate allocated for the use of schools or an educational institution.
