Toyota company opened the contract in 2001 with the first production of its vehicles in France, and a year later a range of new branches were created, including the Saion branch in California in the United States of America, the Toyota Peugeot Citroen Cars branch in Czechia, the Toyota branch in Poland and the Tianjin Toyota Motor Company in China.
In Alabama and Texas, USA, factories for Toyota cars were built in the year 2003 AD.

The brand, along with the Peugeot 107 and Citroen C1 models, began manufacturing the 'Ego’ model in 2005 as a joint cooperation between the company and Peugeot Citroen in the Czech Republic. During the same year, Toyota cars were made in Russia as well. Lexus models started to be introduced in Japan after they were planned for export outside Japan, and Toyota models contained analogs similar to Lexus luxury models and were intended for sale in Japan, but production stopped in 2005 with the introduction into the Japanese market of Lexus models.
By the year 2007 AD, when its sales figures surpassed the sales of the first company in the world, the American General Motors Corporation, the company was at the top of car sales in the world.
Toyota celebrated its 50th anniversary in the U.S. in the year 2008 AD.
On May 8, 2009, the company announced It was represented in the Lexus branch, specializing in luxury cars, which began in 1989.
