Kia Motors is South Korea's second largest car manufacturer.
It is a subsidiary of Hyundai Kia Vehicle Group and is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. And the company's CEO, Hu Chung Eui Sun. Kia Motors of America officially hosted a groundbreaking ceremony at the first assembly plant in the USA in West Point, Georgia, based on an initial cost of more than $ 1 billion as of October 20, 2006.
Since 2005, Kia has focused on the European market and the United Kingdom, and with the addition of Peter Schreyer, Director of the company's design office in 2006, Kia has achieved success in various European and global markets.

Kia is one of the oldest car companies, founded on 9 June 1944, when it began manufacturing steel tubes and bicycles by hand. In 1952, Kia changed its name from Kyungsung Precision Industry to its current name, Kia Motors. Later, Kia started making motorcycles (starting in 1957), trucks (1962) and cars in its name (1974). In 1973, the company opened its first integrated vehicle assembly plant, the "Suhari Factory" in Guang Myung. Kia was granted a license to install Fiat 124 in 1971 and Fiat 132 and Peugeot 604 in 1976.
