Under this multi-million dollar annual initiative, Ford will turn the Ford Escape hybrid fleet demonstration into plug-in hybrids, and how SCE can determine cars can communicate with home and electrical networks and services. Some vehicles would be scored "in
typical customer settings," according to Ford.
