After a substantial refresh in 2012 and powertrain updates in 2013 (twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8, power bump for the Speed models' 6.0-liter W-12, and eight-speed automatic transmission), the Bentley Continental GT coupe and GTC convertible see few changes for 2014. The eight-speed auto is now standard on base W12 models. With 500 hp and 487 lb-ft of torque, the new 4.0-liter gives up little performance to the standard 6.0-liter W-12 (567 hp, 516 lb-ft) - at least at legal speeds. GT and GTC models with the 4.0-liter engine are EPA-rated 14-15/24 mpg city/highway, while models with the 6.0-liter engine are rated 12/20-21 mpg - including the Speed model with 616 hp and 590 lb-ft that is claimed to reach 205 mph.
