The rear-wheel-drive 2013 BMW X1 sDrive28i has a muscular 240-horsepower, turbocharged engine that effortlessly moves the SUV off the line and down the highway. With the base powertrain, the X1 sDrive28i achieves outstanding fuel economy estimates of 24 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. The X1 xDrive28i gets 22/32 mpg city/highway, while the X1 xDrive35i gets 18/26 mpg city/highway. On winding roads, the X1 has sharp steering and handles nimbly, producing minimal body roll. Its brakes are also strong. 

Inside, the five-seat, 2-row BMW X1 features superb fit-and-finish, as well as top-notch materials that are soft to the touch. Front-seat occupants will enjoy an abundance of headroom and legroom, but those seated in the back will have limited legroom. There is up to 47.7 cubic feet of cargo space – adequate for typical storage needs.
