Summer Art and Design Program for High School Students

The Summer Program 2021 is an intensive three-week program with an optional week of portfolio classes. It is structured to allow students to design their educational journey by introducing them to the different majors being offered and then making them choose one discipline in depth. The course will begin with introducing four of the undergraduate degree programs being offered by VCUarts Qatar. The introductions will be given by the respective program chairs. Then, students can choose one discipline from a selection of four majors which they will study in-depth: Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, or Painting and Printmaking. The optional portfolio development classes will prepare prospective students who submit their portfolios as part of the application processes for art and design universities.
