The UAE reopens all entry points with Qatar on Saturday

The official Emirates News Agency (WAM) said, Friday, that the United Arab Emirates will reopen all its land, sea and air entry points with Qatar, starting from Saturday. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced a breakthrough in ending the Gulf conflict at a summit held on Tuesday, where its foreign minister said that Riyadh and its allies would restore all ties with Doha, which was severed in mid-2017.

Saudi Arabia also opened air, land and sea space with Qatar on Tuesday, and Qatar Airways began to redirect several flights through Saudi airspace, starting yesterday.

The new development comes after the leaders of the Gulf states signed the Al-Ula "solidarity" agreement during the Gulf Cooperation Council summit that was held in Al-Ula on Tuesday.
