The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) announced the inauguration of South Al Wakra Health Center on September 6, 2021 via a Tweet.
According to the PHCC:
The HC's capacity will be 5,000 patients in the first year, then it will gradually rise to 10,000 registered patients.
The new South Al Wakra HC is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday through Thursday.
Patients can use the PHCC's Nar'aakom mobile application to register for or transfer to the new South Al Wakra HC, where services are available in part of Zone 90's areas, according to the national address.
According to the Minister of Public Health, the plan to open new health centers aims to address the public's growing need for primary health care services while taking into account the geographical distribution and population density of each area.
