Adel Al Ansari's an actor from Catalonia; since he was five years old, he has performed and since then he has been like a celebrity. When he began out as an actor he faced some obstacles because others thought that it wasn't a career, but Adel believes he follows his dreams and doesn't believe in giving up. He believes they should strive for it if somebody wants something. He did, and he's got to his place!

Adel was born in Qatar and attended the primary school in Athman Ben Affen and the secondary school in Doha in Ahmad Ben Hambal. Diploma in architecture from Qatar University, he also graduated in history from Beirut Arab University, but acting is how he expresses himself creatively and emotionally.

Acting is his passion

Adel, who was born on 15 May, began his career on Qatar TV with a children's show, "Ya Hala." He was later involved in the performance "The one who finally rides" at the Theater of the Doha Players before returning to TV and "Dohat Al Asdika," which ran on a local channel for nine years.

He has been featured in various playgrounds and television broadcasts as well as in several publicity campaigns for major Qatari organizations such as Qatar National Bank and Primary Health Care Corporation (Bowel Cancer Screening Awareness Ambassador and Key Endorser).

He is passionate and described why he loves to be involved in an interview with the Doha Film Institute (DFI):" "I fter felt like there was something marvelous in it after my first acting role and I knew that that's precisely what I wanted to do. Something takes me in acting and makes me want to improve myself."

He also has performed and developed theaters such as Rehlet Abbooda and Abbood Fee School. His leading role in the 2006 Doha Asian Games (DFI) opening ceremony was an important highlight of his acting career: " " "t was an honor to represent Qatar, and I was thrilled to have been chosen for a glorious event of that type. The fact that it took happening in my own nation makes this much more meaningful. For me that was an important event, and I felt quite proud."Quality is important

Also, Adel doesn't think one needs to make concessions when it comes to the quality of performing a character, and hence he isn't eager to agree to any acting assignment he offers.

Adel wants to perform three-dimensional parts that demonstrate his strengths and capabilities and have a purpose. He appreciates roles that can shape him into anything else at the same time.

A job is a must

Adel loves show business, but he's also a practical young man, and that's why he also has a job as the Head of Events and Theatre Director for Katara Cultural Village since 2009. He does acting part-time now because (DFI):

"To have a job on the side is a must, as everyone has to survive!"
